January 2026. News from the Eventis web platform
27.01.2026
We improve the design and usability of the web platform's content manager, integrate it with Google Translate and introduce improvements to work better with SEO.
New design of the web content manager

One of our main objectives to be achieved during 2026 is to improve the design and usability of the content manager of the web platform . In this sense, the first step is to update its design to make it simpler and more intuitive . We have opted to standardize the interface of the management tool regardless of the contracted plan. The objective is to facilitate the understanding of the elements and offer simpler and smoother navigation. We have also wanted to enhance the information about the updates and improvements that we are introducing to the Eventis web platform. From now on, the most outstanding new features will appear in pop-up window format when accessing the web management tool so that no one misses anything!

Built-in Google Translate
We have integrated Google Translate into our content manager so that you can directly translate the original texts of the website into other languages. All the action will be carried out within the management environment so that you can review the translations before publishing them. The operation is very simple, from now on the Google Translate icon will appear in the lists of pages, activity catalog and news. Initially the translations will be deactivated, but with one click they will be activated and you will instantly be able to review the translation, introduce changes if necessary, and once everything is correct, publish them.

We optimize SEO by increasing loading speed
Security and SEO improvements are always at the top of our priority lists. In this sense, in the new update of our web platform we have optimized our SEO by improving the loading of the contents of our pages by reducing the weight of the text fonts from the Fontawesome library (basically we have eliminated the variants of the main fonts to reduce loading times).
Below, we present a list of other improvements made to help improve the visibility (SEO) of our projects in search engines:
- Redesign of 404 pages
- Increased configuration options for content headers
- Sitemaps indexing in robots.txt
- Option to place texts under the lists of shows and activities to work on SEO without harming usability (especially in the mobile version).
- Overwriting of H1 headings, maintaining the original texts but incorporating alternative texts and for links.
- Configurable redirects: possibility of performing 301 and canonical redirects of pages and activity files from the Eventis CMS.
